Family Practice of Madison provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages in Madison, Alabama, and the surrounding Huntsville area. Under the leadership of Judy Rawls, MD, the philosophy of this family medicine practice is to provide the best, most comprehensive preventive care as opposed to a focus on urgent care only. The medical team believes that placing emphasis on the highest standard of medical care is an important way to help their patients live long and productive lives.
The caring, medical and professional team at Family Practice of Madison knows that your time is valuable and that getting sick isn’t something you can plan for. When patients are sick, they do their best to see you on the same day or as soon as possible. Providers are also available to you 24 hours a day over the phone. For their patient’s convenience, the practice also has a complete X-ray facility, full laboratory capability and can do EKGs in-house as well.

Meet Dr. Rawls
Judy Rawls, MD, is the primary provider and family medicine specialist at Family Practice of Madison, serving patients of all ages in Madison, Alabama, and the surrounding Huntsville area. Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Rawls has committed more than three decades offering comprehensive superior quality preventive, urgent, and sick medical, and aesthetic treatments to patients.
Dr. Rawls journey to her medical career began as an undergraduate student at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She then continued onto the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, where she obtained her medical degree. Dr. Rawls completed her postdoctoral training at Carraway Hospital in Birmingham with a family medicine residency.
